Counseling Services are provided by two full-time and one part-time counselors, offering services to students and parents. Individual and group counseling address issues that affect academic success.
Peer facilitation, peer tutoring, and after-school study table opportunities are available. The focus of the Middle School program is the new advisor-advisee class which addresses such topics as self-esteem, study skills, conflict resolution, and decision making.
High School students and parents are involved in four-year curriculum plans with post-high school goals being an important part of the process including both career and college nformation. Students participate in Career Day, which involves approximately 35 speakers in diverse areas, and the BPW sponsors a Reality Store, which assists students in developing realistic goals for the future.
